GEOGRAPHY & CLIMATE

Goa is also known as Konkan and is a coastal state.It has 7 major rivers: Mandovi, Terekhol, Chapora, Zuari, Kumbarjua canal, Talpona and the Sal.Highest altitude point is 1,167 metres at Sonsogor.The coastline length is 101 kilometre.
