About Muddy Boots Vacations India LLP

MuddyBoots is an active vacation company that specialises in activity holidays in Wayanad (North Kerala), Coorg, the Nilgiris, the Malabar coast and Rajasthan, with new locations in the offing.

Established in 2009 with a small core group possessing very deep knowledge of the wilderness areas of Wayanad, MuddyBoots was shortlisted as one of India's 6 best adventure operators in 2014 by Outlook Traveller. They have also been covered in a number of publications such as National Geographic, Lonely Planet, Sunday Times etc.

MuddyBoots offers a great collection of outdoor experiences such as walking, cycling, hiking, kayaking, bamboo rafting and camping, while retaining elements of traditional vacation packages such as sightseeing and exposure to local culture. The experiences are tailored based on the profile of the client group, with activities suitable for everyone from 10 to 70+ years of age. Typical client groups range from a FIT couple, to domestic/international groups of upto 20, though they have handled large groups of upto 150 persons.

MuddyBoots is the outdoor activities partner for the Vivanta by Taj group, and also has exclusive partnerships with Harrisons Malayalam Ltd to conduct outdoor activities within their vast tea and rubber estates in Kerala.

MuddyBoots is presently comprised of an experienced team of 21 – most are from local communities, as part of their philosophy that their activities must contribute to the local economy. They also take great care to ensure minimal impact on the places they visit and request that their clients respect this.
