This is a very challenging sport and anyone can go for it, provided you are in perfect health and are ready to face the challenges that come with every step. One has to take this sport seriously as the terrains are difficult to follow. Some of the tallest mountains in the world are found in India, thus making it a perfect site for mountaineering expeditions. The things you require for an expedition are :
compass, area map, extra clothing for changing, matches, fire starter, knife or multi purpose camp tools, sunglasses, extra food, first aid kit, headlamp or flashlight with extra batteries, sunscreen, water purification tablets and a whistle.
