Scuba diving allows you to explore the world far beneath the surface and mingle with schools of exciting and vibrant fish. But, in order to scuba dive, you require certification. Training for certification may be spread out over a few days or weeks and includes pool training, theory and open water dives. On completing this training and several open water dives you can take part in the adventure of exploring the world under the sea. While India does have a vast coastline, it is only in the calm recesses of it''''s southern islands that you can enjoy exploring the magic of the underwater world. Andaman & Nicobar Islands: Scuba diving is permitted at Cinque, Rutland and Snake Islands.
