This has reference to the below mail message which we have received for the Wilderness Medical Course! Kindly note that World Expeditions have invited Dr. Jim Duff to conduct the Wilderness Medical Course for the trip leaders and guides. Dr. Jim Duff has more than 30 years experience of climbing, trekking and teaching wilderness medicine, first aid and leadership in the Himalayas. He will be speaking on first Aid and Survival in Mountain and Remote Areas.
 
World Expeditions has very kindly agreed to offer 10 seats for the above course to the members of ATOAI. The other details of the Course are as given below:
 
Duration: 08 to 12 April 08
Venue : Vishwa yuvak Kendra, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.
Timming: Start sharp at 0830 hrs and finish at 1730 hrs.
Course Fee:    Rs.6000/- plus Service tax @ 12.36%,  inclusive of Morning Tea+snacks  Veg Lunch and afternoon Tea+snacks.
Last date for registration : 20 Mar 08
Total Amount- Rs. 6741.60

I personally feel that this course is of great value to the trip leaders and guides. You are requested to
nominate those staff members who have at least few years of experience of trip leading or guiding.  
 
Please send the name of the participating person alongwith the cheque for Rs. 6741.60 favouring "World Expeditions (India) Pvt. Ltd." to the ATOAI admin office before 20th March.  Kindly note the participation will be on first-cum-first serve basis, hence send the details urgently!
